Time Zones

What Are They & Why Do We Need Them?

We measure the day by saying that the sun is at it's highest point at 12 o'clock, midday. Because the earth spins, as it travels around the sun, one half of the earth is in darkness and one half in light, all the time. This brings us to a problem. SECONDARY SECTOR

This sector generally takes the output of the primary sector and manufactures finished goods.
This sector is often divided into light industry and heavy industry
Many of these industries consume large amounts of energy and require factories and machinery to convert the raw materials into goods and products. They also produce waste materials and waste heat that may pose environmental problems or cause pollution.
